BTW, why do wee need the women reservation bill? In the future it will create same problems as the caste reservation is creating these days. It will be better to improve the women’s representation in legislations through other methods.

It is really interesting to see that every one is supporting the reservation for the women in the legislations. Even the people who oppose the caste based reservation are in favour of women reservation. Why there are dual standards?

Why to elect a women as our leader if she doesn’t have the capability to lead the people? Being a women can’t be the only criterion for becoming the Mp or MLA. We need efficient people to represent us.

I am waiting for a day when we can say that we don’t go by reservation but by academics. After 6 decades of independence and addressing as a secular country we still talk of reservation. The best way to end reservation is make all the available vacancies as reserved for “Indians” which we are by birth and which can not be changed. In true sense make reservation at education levels and give equal oportunity to every one when it comes to competition. Take a leaf from Obamas vocabulary ” Go for A Change India”. The world is watching us for the good we do to mankind and not to vote politics. When it comes to decesion making it is the academics which helps not the reservation. Rest is all upto politicians because they are learned people and know how to destroy India.
