The govt changed it. Marriage in India is not only risky for the husband but also for his entire family. Even 2 months old kid can be accused of dowry harrassment!!!

Coupled with the fairly new Domestic Violence Act marriage is the BIGGEST blunder that an Indian man can do. Based on this Act even talking louder to your wife or calling name is an offense!!! Every day, about 20-30 husbands are loosing their own houses in Delhi.

India govt is working on commercialising surrogacy. For this, National Commission of Women and Women and Child Development ministry headed by Renuka Chaud ary has already submitted recommendations to law commission of India.

Veena, BTW man cannot donate eggs ;)

Its women who donate eggs and men donate sperm. Then he needs to hire a womb to make it happen, and the one who rent her womb is the surrogate women. There is nothing against nature here, but one can say its against child rights. Apparently, in India most kids of working couples are getting raised in day cares and by maids. So a surrogate kid has nothing much to loose.

Something confuses me. Single men (man),lined up in an infertility clinic donating eggs(Sperms)for surrogate father!

Veena, there are semen banks with complete history of the donor of the semen including the genetic traits.

There are laws regarding the inheriting properties like movable and immovable or claims on any conginital defects if could happen due to artifical inseminisation.

If the corrective measures fail with the husband as to insufficient sperm count,or insufficient mobility of the spermatozoa to leap the fertile zone or total impotency of husband is confirmed,the artificial inseminisation may be considered with the consent of the husband.

The donor of the sperms does not come into picture while the artificial inseminisation occurs. Some clinics do not disclose the names and

address of the donors for legalities.

As far as my knowledge goes no spinster is willing to opt for artificial inseminisation. India being 85% dipped into religious acumen,perhaps the artficial inseminisation may be a sacrilege.

The Unmarried Fathers want someone whom they can call their own,having their own flesh and blood,so they are not opting for donated sperm.

There were reports coming in where some females are going in for surrogacy for monetary gains,a very miniscule percentage.

Its interesting but I do think about the child - who may want to know about his/her biological mother, and family history.

It does raise all sorts of ethical questions but if the child is wanted, loved and nurtured (which should be every childs birthright but sadly is not) then every body involved should be happy with the outcome.

The comedy is that the mother wants child by some mechanical means beyond accepted conventions. The tragedy is the child does not know who is the real father if married woman goes for an artificial method.She actually dupes the child that her husband is the father.

In case of unwed woman, the child is fatherless or (artifically) orphaned. These are all the comedies of error.

Some of the advancement of science and noval inventions leads to complications and miseries although wonderful comforts are disseminated.

Do you know most psychiatric clinic are dumped with love starved children grown into adolescents. They have all sorts of vices. The various inbuilt complexes

in the childhood,also grow gigantically as the age advances. It bursts in the teens. They become questionable social elements leaning to liquors and drug addiction.

If parents fail to rear the children as a flower similar to one that has been nurtured in the garden, their(children’s) future is a rudderless ship, sailing to every wind that blows to it.

yes I think everyone knows there are millions of unwanted, unloved kids born everyday - who are used, abused, and neglected by both the parents and predators everywhere in this world.

It is truely one of the saddest facts of life on this planet, that we as humans beings think we are ”better” than the animals, I don’t think so.

We may have the intellect to produce medical marvels to enhance our lives although there some things that I question morally and ethically - but when it comes down to the basics of love, nurturing and protecting our young then I believe with out a doubt that all the animals leave us selfish humans as a species for dead.

To suffice the debate, I would prefer the following:

1.The world is made up of beasts and human beings. Still some the human beings are in beastly behaviours. If all are angels,why police,court and justice and all?

2. There should be a single father. Multiple father cannot be there. If multiple fathers exist for a single lady, she herself cannot identify to which father was born which child!

Let this be an end to my argument. I bid an adieu.
