If this is true, it is not only pathetic, its disgusting, its revolting, its irresponsible, its illegal, its immoral, and most of all, its unacceptable!. I wonder why media didnt interview that dad. ..But you leave no stone unturned in showing men in poor light.Anyway,of late,you have changed a bit and started highlighing crimes committed by women.I appreciate new changes in you.

Some people have unnecssarily targeted Prasoon for seeking source of the news.They forget that we are living in world where women are finding rapes profitable.The Courts have seen many cases where fake rape cases were filed to settle scores!!

So I don’t find anything wrong in seeking the source to have a greater clarity.After all, if this case gets registered one will have to know the facts instead of relying on the outbursts of excited minds !!!

Lastly,it’s really tragic that little girl was subjected to such demonic cruelty !!

I appreciate you efforts Veena, to bring up the social issues all the time which helps us to get aware of our bright indian society.

I feel like crying after reading the article and suddenly read Prasoon’s comment at the end. I could not control my anger.

Just imagine the pain of the child who’s father is raping her since she was 9. At 9 we didn’t even know what the word sex or rape mean. I feel terrible for the child. Where is god? Why doesn’t he make such people impotent?

Thanks for the article Veena. It feels terrible to read such stories. Hope god gives the girl courage move ahead in life and not just land up being a prostitute(as is observed in most of the cases). I hope govt helps the girl to get some psychiatric treatment to come over with it and arrange for her education(in case she’s has poor background)

Both the parents have committed crime against the girl. Because the husband is involved in the rape, mother of the child backed out. This is ridiculous. The child is suffering because she is too young to take stand for herself. This should have been done by the mother and other members in the family.

Rohan what gave you the idea that young boys who are subject to such perverted sexual behaviour are ignored or such treatment is taken in their stride.They are also victims and they also suffer the same way that young girls do.Such perverted behaviour whether it involves a girl or a boy should be condemned,A child is a child and whether girl or boy both feel the pain and suffer in the same manner.
