Late Inspector Sharma died due to his reckless, negligent attitude and non-adherence to the laid down protocols. He was not wearing bullet proof jacket and helmet provided for his own security. The men under his command were not properly dressed for counter-terrorist mission. His superiors who were responsible to supervise the operation overlooked his grave mistake which became fatal as 3 bullets hit his stomach. Had he been properly dressed, he would not have died. By glorifying his death, some one higher up is trying to hide his own irresponsibility. The official responsible must be identified and sacked for putting his men to commit suicide and sure death. It was not encounter where you kill a person without trial. It was counter terrorism. It is not to be taken lightly.
