Congrats, Abhinav, you real did India proud. Atleast India will be in medal Tally list, an honour which was limited to Silver medal and after 1980 Moscow we again are in the reckoning and in the gold list just beause of you.
It is a fact it is always the Dark Horse who gives a surprise performance. We were only concerntrating on the already famous sports person like Sania Mirza, Anjali Bhagwat and others and were jolted out of our stupor by Abhinav, same as last olympics’ Rajyawardhene’s silver medal.
Now Abhinav will be feted by the whole country the honour which he truly deserves.
Makes you think whether the famous names are overhyped. Also if there was no dirty politics involved may be Monica Devi also could have done something for the country
