Taare jameen Par- our entry for Oscars is a right choice. It had a strong contender in Jodhaa Akbar but thankfully it won. I am saying thankfully because Jodha Akbar is mired in controversy, it makes us loose our credibility in the international arena. The choices of movies after Lagaan such as Devdas and Paheli despite having a movie like Black was surprising.
Taare — is a well made, simple, down to earth movie, dealing with present day problems which will strike a chord there.
India is not just a country of snakes, kings,or beggars,now West realises this very clearly and it is time we strengthen this realisation into confirmation
Here is wishing Luck to the entire team of Taare– and hope it will bring a Oscar to India. We may do it ,you know because this is our lucky period ,remember Olympics
