The IOA president Mr. Suresh Kalmadi was miffed when he went in a function at the Vice President’s held to felicitate our Bronze Heroes. As per the news shown on the TV he sat on the seat meant for Sushil Kumar as it had his name written on it. When requested to vacate the seat he just walked off without attending the function .
Our real heroes were given a raw deal when the 2 star hotel chosen for them to stay was not fit at least for Olympic conquerors After the state of the hotel was highlighted in the news they were shifted to a 5 star hotel.
Everyone knows the struggle they had gone through and with the pathetic conditions they had to live in while training for the Olympics it is a real miracle they were able to get a bronze medal each.
It is due to such dedication and effort that India was in the medal tally list,instead of appreciation our politicians are involved in powerplay and throwing tantrums.Such atheletes form the base of the Indian sports and they should be given proper appreciation for their accomplishments.
