A 72 year old spinster Jenny Brown wants to become a mother and that is why she saving money and trying to find a egg donor so that she could be a surrogate mother.

Miss Brown lives in a three bedroom flat in London and saves money received as rent. Then, she goes off to USA or Italy for expensive IVF treatment which could fulfill her wish of becoming a mother.

She was busy pursuing academics achieving degrees in medical science and Zoology in her young age so she did not have time for babies now she has undergone at least five expensive IVF’s from the age of 50’s but success has eluded her. But she has not given up hope and is ready to try again once more.

72 being a pretty ripe age to even become a great grandmother so how will she manage to take care of her kid if she has one. She has looked after the kids of her friends and so she knows that it is hard work but so what she will manage.

But there are chances that she would not be able to attend the parents-teachers meetings, she is only thinking of her own self what about the kid, won’t he feel bad if on growing up he finds mothers of other kids a lot and really a lot younger than his mother, well as per Miss Brown it would be unusual and people do not like unusual things. In case of her ‘early’ death she is depending on her friends to take care of her kid.

She would be better off if she reads the latest. The world’s oldest mother of Spain, Maria died three years after giving birth to her twins. She became a mother at 67 and underwent the fertility treatment by lying about her age. She was so very confident that longevity ran in her family, her mother died at the age of 101 so she was sure about being able to look after her kids for another twenty years at least, but it was not to be, she lost her battle with cancer and now has left two orphan babies for the society to look after.

There should be an age bar for such infertility treatment, so that at least the future of kids is safeguarded. It is the mania which these women suffer from, their extreme enthusiasm to become a mother at any cost at any age without sparing a thought for the poor baby whom they will be leaving at the mercy of strangers. Something is surely not right here.
