Who will benefit from Sanjeev Nanda’s conviction? No one, as it is ,even the widow of one of the victims is not interested whether he is sent to jail or not.

What purpose will jail sentence serve, that too after nine long years.It is not as if he is a criminal, and he killed people deliberately,like Jessica and Katara killers.

What he did was wrong,but I think asking him to rehabilitate the victims’ families along of course a deterrent light jail sentence should be enough, at least they will be compensated in monetary form.

At this moment the real culprits are the Bihar officials and the politicians who are playing the blame game. What they did was a deliberate act of negligence the cost of which millions are paying and will continue to do so for a very long period, while those responsible will go scout free.

Their punishment should be exemplary so that in future every one would think twice before shirking their duties
