It is out of the closet,the open secret which everyone knew but did not acknowledge in public. Of course everyone and anyone who had a brush with Indian Bureaucracy the confrontation which everyone has to go through from birth till death ,it is a different matter you are either too young or too dead to face the inefficient, slow and suffocating babulogs sitting there doing nothing but creating hurdles in smooth running of any project,the close relatives suffer and as a revenge measure they pass on this legacy of suffering to next generation.

The Hong Kong based Political and Economic Risk Consultancy did a survey in a poll of 1274 expatriates working in North and South Asian nations on the efficiency of bureaucrates in those countries.

Singapore came as the most efficient country with its bureaucratic force being most helpful when there is no stress on the system but when they are under pressure they tend to clam up and circle the wagons in such a way that lacks transparency and make accountabilty difficult.

Hong Kong and Thailand were second and third respectively.Even China slipped from seventh to ninth position.

But out of twelve countries the last and least efficient country turned out to be our India Shining. As per the report working with India’s civil servants was a slow and painful process(you are telling me, you have absolutely no idea how slow and how much pain is involved in here).

The bureaucrats are a power centre in their own right both in the national and state levels(Obviously they are the Monarchs of all they survey, afterall a politico will come and there is no gaurantee that he will be there in near future,the bureaucrats are the forever,it is a pity but that is the way it is and no one can change it.)they are extremely resistant to reforms( reforms what reforms? this is way this matter should be dealt with I have been doing it for so long and I know best period).

Obviously the Bureaucrats are cribbing, afterall who wouldn’t,they are wearing rose coloured glasses seeing everything under a rosy hue.Nothing is lacking from their side.Really?
