Have we as Indians lost our pride? Harsh question, isn’t it. Maybe I have lost it many will be thinking to write or ask such inflammatory question. But no I would like to know have we Indians in the name of tolerance and forgiveness given the right to abuse us to any Tom, Dick and Harry. He might have created havoc in the whole nation of 100 billion people but still we are treating him with respect, Yes I am speaking about Kasab, the lone terrorist caught alive from the Mumbai Mayhem.

First we arrest him, than spend crores to safeguard him and even after his so called confession we refuse to punish him and to top it all we are ready to pander to the tantrums of the Prima Donna.

First it was the mutton biryani as if he has done something great for which he has to be rewarded, asking for his favorite dish as if he is sitting in a five star hotel the same one he destroyed and demanding from the gracious host his choice of dish.

Now as per latest report Mr. Kasab wants Basmati rice not the usual prison affair served for all the ordinary Indian prisoners serving sentences for forgery, murder, rape, he wants the best after all he has topped in his crime hasn’t he?

Also as per the prison official Jail Superintendent Rajendra Dhamne he throws tantrums if he does not get what he is demanding and worse does not dress up in time for court hearing and to top it all he abuses the jail staff. Imagine to be abused by a terrorist in your own country just because you are doing your duty as an patriotic Indian.

Everyone will remember that Kasab is facing trial for killing 166 Indians including foreigners also. Why are we mollycoddling a terrorist I fail to understand.
