Reading any newspaper or watching TV will tell you one and only one thing. The world which you live in and erroneously think as if it is your world you are sadly mistaken, wake up and face the real world the place where the Judiciary of the Democratic India where constitutionally everyone is born equal and will be treated equally in the eyes of law is above this ruling.

The judges who give rulings everyday regarding equality believe that they are above the rest of Indians even above politicians. They are not ready to bare their list of assets to public. Oh they have condescended to give a list but only for the eyes of a chosen few in the Government and this list shall not be made public or disclosed and shall not be called for or put into question by any citizen, court or authority. The proposed bill which by the way was stonewalled in the Rajya Sabha also sought immunity from any inquiry or query in relation to the contents of the declaration by any person.

It simply means that the judges are omnipotent, powerful and above ordinary Indian citizen and they will not tolerate any query regarding their assets. This simply violated the the fundamental right as per article 19(1)(a) the right to freedom and speech and which also provides the basis for the right to know later enacted as the Right To Information.

The Right to Information is a thorn in the side for many politicians, government offices and many PSUs. next all of them will be up in arms demanding the same immunity so that there is no accountability of any kind.
