Can someone, anyone please please tell me what is going on?I don’t have a clue I mean the L18 Batla House controversy.
As per the inputs from media both electronic and printed, the explanations given by the police do not match with investigative journalism.
As per the Mail Today the casual dresses of the police party which was responsible for the raid points towards the fact that no one had any idea that the tip off was genuine or dangerous.
As per reports from onlookers Inpector Sharma was hit in the back and there was little bleeding in front totally different from police version.
The aide of Atif Saquib is doing MBA and the newspaper has given the marksheet which confirms the dates on which he had appeared for the exams which clashes with police dates.
The police of three states Gujarat,Rajasthan and Delhi first were giving out their own masterminds responsible for the blasts, now they seemed to have reached a compromise and agreeing with each other.
I know there is great pressure on the police to solve this case, but haste makes waste as we all had seen in Arushi’s case. If they are convinced that they have caught the real culprits well and good, but if there is any doubt, one shoud keep their minds open and be vigilant because any lackness in this case could be fatal

Media is always under self imposed pressure to be ”neutral” and they end up being biased towards the terrorists...

I simply can’t believe that a senior policeman can be killed in a fake encounter...all the documents media has mentioned can easily be faked but they can’t fake the death of a brave officer...

If it was a tip off, the police party should have taken the local police station into confidence and got more information through their informers and verified it. If not, they should have brought rapid action force, fire brigade and other agencies to co-ordinate the task. None of it was done. The team was not even properly dressed. They acted in haste. Local people resisted because they had no clue of the goings on. The planning and management of the operation left much to be desired and was not a professional job. In all propbability the mission was carried out to divert people’s attention from the flak being received by the Honourable home Minister Shri Shivraj Patil during Delhi Bomb blasts. That Inspector Sharma died, was incidental but then the life of a policeman is expendable.

I do not agree with you that life of anyone even a policeman is expendable, maybe for politicians, maybe for general public yes but not for his family. How do you console a 13 year old whose father died fighting enemies within his own country. All the uncles who had gone with his father returned unscathed. There has been serious lapses in this whole operation, but the real victims are the blasts victims or the Inspector’s family left behind They are the real sufferers, we are totally uninvolved onlookers who will jump to another news bite at the first oppurtunity

My comment should be seen in totality. Last two sentences summarise the story and the motive is unmistakably clear. You have partly agreed to it.
