What is happening, why are we supporting and encouraging our kids to be a Muslim, a Christian or a Sikh first why not teach them to be a good student first. Obviously all these cases were supported by their parents who by doing it undermined the authority of school where they had only sent their child to study and become a useful member of the society. Than if the school takes any action they go against it and best of all God forbid if their wards go waywards than also the school is blamed.

There was this tragic death of five school girls in a stampede in a government school in Delhi, everyone was blaming the school authorities but what were they supposed to do. The condition of the school premises was abysmal to say the least and it is not for the teachers to do something about it it is the job of the administration and the Municipal Committee has its own way of working or in almost all cases not working. The ground floor was full of rain water and the students had no place to stand leave aside give an exam.

But it was the mistake of the teachers who told the boys to go upstairs on the first floor which was already overcrowded by girls and when they started coming down on the narrow staircase with boys jostling and pushing to go up tragedy happened. There were reports of physical assault by the boys. Well what else do you expect with teenagers undergoing raging hormonal changes.

School is on the wrong end when it fails to discipline its teachers who do not do their job honestly. They should be punished for this but please it is our duty to help the school when it tries to teach discipline and other moral values of treating each and everyone at par with no special relaxations for anyone.

We are creating a rift among the children the next generation at this level only so how do we expect the world to be peaceful place when these kids grow up.
