Well it seems that Former USA President Bill Clinton’s new book “The Clinton Tapes: Wrestling History with the President” is a reality shocker. As per this 707 page book will be published next week, but the juicy details are already out, just to titillate and whet the appetite, what better way to make it a runaway success even before it is out on the stands. In the excerpts from this book, the little known facts of world leaders however unsavory are open to the whole world, like.
Former Russian President Boris Yeltsin, who died two years ago aged 76 was known for his love for vodka. On many occasions he was so drunk that once during his visit to Washington in 1995 he was found standing outside the White House in his underpants, trying to hail a taxi. He was trying to get a cab to buy a pizza.
Another time he was mistaken as an intruder by the secret service agents when he was stumbling around the basement of his guest house. During a stopover in Ireland while returning from talks with Clinton in 1994, Yeltsin was too drunk to disembark from his plane to meet waiting politicians and he was declared too tired to leave the aircraft.
The infamous row which was explosive and went on for heated two hours between Clinton and Al Gore after the Vice president lost 2000 election campaign is also there. Al Gore had accused Clinton for his scandalous behaviour which had cost him the election.
As per Clinton George Bush was unqualified to be president. About the Monica Lewinsky affair, Clinton with his own share of indiscretions had only few words to say in this oral history of his presidency.
“Just cracked” under political and personal pressures.
