Dejected Dhoni's Apology

Neither non stop tiring cricket schedule nor IPL,none of these can justifies the T20 loss., so says M.S.Dhoni, the Team India Captain. We are not tired at least not tired enough to loose a winning match, and the more we play cricket it is all the more better.if any player says that he did not perform well as we are playing so much cricket it is a bad excuse. We lost because we did not play well. Period.

Also bringing in Jadeja instead of Yuvraj cost team India dear. He consumed 35 balls in the middle order for 25. Dhoni thought that young Jadeja would stabilize the game and he did not want Yuvi to play under pressure.Well it seems all his good intentions backfired and Team India is has no chances of reaching semifinals ahead of their Super Eights match against South Africa on Tuesday.

Dhoni also feels let down by his batsmen,he believes they were not upto the mark, but as a real sportsman he is taking this defeat as a learning lesson for future.

A perfect captain he is all praises for his bowlers, he was happy with their performance. A graceful Captain he gave all the credit of winning to the England Bowlers, short deliveries and bouncers, their strategy was confusing and Indian batsmen were not able to change their game plan.

Well apology or no apology, cricket is a religion in India, and defeat of the Demi Gods is a very sensitive issue. The players themselves may take cricket as a sport but the fans here make it a matter of life and death, perhaps that is why they are vandalising Dhoni’s house in Ranchi.

A mere apology wouldn't be sufficient? Dhoni should tell the people that why team was not playing like a unit in the T20 world cup? Is there any conflict going on between the players?

This is an outcome of something cooked between sehwag and dhoni. When BCCI told that they were aware about sehwag's injury, Dhoni decided to teach lesson to BCCI at the expense of whole country and decided to bring team down. I could see that destructive intention both in the match against WI and Eng.

Keeping in contrast with the Michael Slator's comment on Andrew Symonds , We can make it out that now, the Indain Players too are playing for money. The only two players which I could trace who played with Passion were Yosuf Pathan ans Jadeja. All the others were just playing the world T20 match as a practice match.Team India deserved this , they are not worthy to still hold the T20 cup

Indian players are playing for money. There is no sense of nationalism required for uniting the team. It's the result of IPL that has made the players purely commercial.

if we just master the short pitch deliveries..
we can never be beaten anywhere in the world..
and for england and west indies ..u may have beaten us in bouncy tracks in england..
but we can never be beaten in slow sub continental pitches..

Sehwag was missed, seriously. Ravindra Jadeja didnt use his brain really, why go for shots which didnt connect, when you have big players at the other end?? Why can't he pinch singles? His batting was certainly a disgrace.

I think its no use looking back at the tournament, players must realise that they have the potential tht can win you the games. West Indies tour is coming up, strategies should be well laid and employed for the tour, Sehwag and Sachin should obviously be playing the ODI's while I think the bowling department must be well ready and well unified. And a senior pro like a dravid inclusion in the ODI's would definitely work. Dhoni must be sensible from now on. seriously !!!!!!!!!!

Apology after losing? For somebody who did not have time to collect the Padmashri award given by the President, this is a good slap on the back. For Indian cricket fans, yesterday was the day when the captain failed the country and not the team!
