After watching the spectacular show of closing ceremony of Olympics 2008 I was made to realise few things.
The beautiful, tall Chinese participants shattered the myth that China is a country where people are not very tall.
The perfectly executed ceremony made one think that God Forbid if there was even a slightest mistake by anyone he or she will be severly dealt with because I had seen a picture where the Chinese Gaurds were wearing pins on their collars at an angle such that if their head was not exactly in the right position the pin will pierce their flesh.
Only goodlooking people can play a role in all this, remember the child who was replaced because she was not cute enough in the opening ceremony
To make its function picture perfect China can make the firework laser display spectacular artificially
All the real Chinese underbelly was hidden even at the extent of putting up a concrete wall on the houses where people were living closing off their fresh air and light sources
It feels good to be on top of the medal tally, but I feel good that Thank God I am an Indian, I would not like to be a topper at this cost.
