Barbaric and Inhuman Chattisgarh Police

If there is a calling for candidates to go back to barbaric age we surely would have a real eligible candidate, the Chattisgarh Police.

Sanchita Sinha a 22 year old college student suffers from a mental ailment. She suffers from fits of insanity and unfortunately becomes violently hysterical and becomes violent throwing stones and things at others.

On Monday she was coming home after giving an exam perhaps the stress was too much and she lost control and started throwing stones at the passerby in a fit of insanity.

The matter was reported to the police, as such when police is called for in emergency most of the time it turns up too late to nab the real culprits but this time a contingent of 10 policemen including four women constables rushed to the spot to subdue her.

But our sensitive, compassionate police acted in a very very brave manner, unable to deal with Naxalites they dealt in a proper manner with a mentally unstable girl.

Two male constables hit her repeatedly, pulling her hair and pushing her down, while female constables dragged her to the waiting police jeep to take Sanchita to the police station. The poor girl not in her right senses was beaten up so horribly through no fault of hers.

Sanchita was released from police station in the evening, after the hue and cry and media coverage of the whole sordid incident two police constables were suspended.

But as rightly asked why only two, what about the rest of the mentally sick persons in uniform?

What's wrong with the Indian police. When they have to deal with the criminals, bloody they stand still watching the scene. When it comes to innocent people they show all the bravery of the world.

Isn’t police brutality much too common in the Indian subcontinent? This is a legacy of the British Raj.
