Yes I mean Michael Jackson, the music icon who is now no more,I am not in Jackson type of music,now ,now don’t pull in your breath and read on aghast at my blasphemous statement. By the time he came in the scene I was busy doing my Masters that too in Chemistry so I had no time for enjoying these pleasures.After that I went on with my life .

But I was and I am an avid reader,I read or try to read just about every printed word which comes to me. There was plenty of news about “the Moon Walker”. I saw the transformation from a normal healthy boy with a golliwog mop to someone very frail and ethereal who was totally different.The skin colour also changed. perhaps it was his way of being one of them,maybe,one would never know.

I read about his fame,the money he would spent on his houses,security and what not.One has to show little eccentricness or it comes naturally with the talent, but he was not the first nor will be the last to have some of his own idiosyncrasies.He could afford them.

Then came the child abuse claims,his nearly going bankrupt to settle them and his infatuation with the plastic surgery,he went under the knife countless times,it must have been very very painful so came the pain killers.His drug dependency made him behave irrationally and was perhaps one of the reason why he took the risk of hanging out his infant outside the balcony shocking everyone. There was even one news of his newly structured nose falling off.

Ultimately the fame,and talent with need for money to maintain his very very expensive life style made him start afresh on a come back trail with 50 concerts lined up.Perhaps with his health conditions it was not a very wise decision.

I feel sorry for him but I feel all the more sorry for his three kids who are still too young to comprehend what their loss means. To have an Iconic Celebrity as a father who is no longer their to guide them can be traumatic in the long run.
